Introducing Easton James Semones

Last week I was able to get my hands on this little guy… Easton James. This little guy was such an angel. Daddy is a big hunter, so I KNEW before I went over there, there would be camouflage would be involved. Easton was a little over the age that I recommend for “newborn” sessions, but he still did great.

Gwynn’s Island Road Trip – Jordan’s Senior Session

This road trip has been in the making for a LONGGG time… Jordan’s Grandfather lives on the beautiful, Gwynn’s Island. Jordan asked me if I would take a road trip with her for her senior portraits, of course I was up for it. As the date neared, I wondered what the heck I was getting myself into. Haha..

Jordan picked me up from my house Saturday morning and we were off. I was in a car full of teenagers and a beagle named Butter Bean. Not only was Butter Bean adorable, Butter Bean got into cream cheese a few hours before our trip…. Needless to say, our trip was a bit smelly. But I was okay with that, I have two smelly kids..

We started off at a public beach just before the island, it was AMAZING… I am sure to “normal” people the beach looked dirty and nasty, I TOTALLY loved it.. Not the trash of course, but I had never seen anything like it. It  had the BEST drift wood. Jordan totally ROCKED it and we were off to pick up Grandpa for lunch.

This is the awesome swing bridge to the island.

We ate lunch at a cute little place right on the water. It was so good!! After lunch, Jordan did some hair adjustments and we were off to the second location. This was a private beach right around the corner from Jordan’s Grandfathers place. The sun was super bright, and sometimes it can be a pain, but I totally rocked it. I am actually pretty impressed.  Shooting at the beach isn’t my “normal”, so I was a little nervous. (I know, I am silly)

We wrapped up our session with a few group shots.

I fell in love with Jordan’s Grandfather. He is the SWEETEST man. I just wanted to take him home with me.

Overall, our trip was a success!

Moore Wedding- Sandston, Virginia

Natayla came to be a few months back about photographing her wedding. It was a small wedding in a tiny little church in Sandston, Virginia. I was so exctied! Tiny weddings in tiny beautiful churches are my FAVORITE. This wedding was so sweet, simple, and to the point. Natayla and Adam have the sweetest family and loved ones. I fell in love with all of them! Here are a few of my favorite images!

The ladies at King William Florist did an AMAZING job with the flowers!

Update on my personal life..

Spring is in the air, and so is POLLEN! It’s kicking my hiney. Not only is it kicking my hiney, it’s kicking Carsyn’s, Brayden’s and Mike’s.  All while my hiney is being kicked by pollen, I have been snapping away! I have been so busy and that makes me feel SOOOOO happy! Brayden’s t-ball season is in full swing, so that has taken up a lot of my time. The next few months will be a blur I am sure, I have a wedding every weekend in May and two in June. I also have made the decision that I will be photographing the recital for Dawn’s School of Dance this year. I am pretty excited!

I also wanted to thank all of my clients, Facebook follower’s, friends, and family for continuing to support me. It means so much to me.  I see all of your sweet comments and “likes”! I have had so many new clients in the last few months.. I am just speechless… I really am blessed!! Also, I have to give a shout out to my Hubby, Mike! He puts up with me running around everywhere and watching the babies! I love you Doll!

I wanted to get you caught up on all my personal sessions and images!

The Johnson’s!

I am totally in love with this family. I feel like they should be on the front over of a magazine. They had their session at Zoar Park, but didn’t have a Mini Session. Little Monroe has to be the cutest little guy. He was so much fun, and I didn’t have to do any crazy dance moves to make him laugh. My son Brayden joined me for this shoot. At the end of the session, Brayden has one request. He wanted a picture with little Monroe. =)
