The Horner Family

Warning- this family is absolutely awesome! I know Jordan through her boyfriend Stephen. Stephen and I are pretty much related. We grew up together. This is the second time I have photographed Stephen and Jordan, but we through in a few siblings this time. Jordan’s family is amazing. I feel in love with each of them. Our session was at Jordan’s house and we had THE BEST lighting! Check them out!

The Seal Family- King William, Virginia

The Seal’s are like my own family. They even go on vacation with us! I adore them. They do so much for me, I really don’t know what I would do without them. When I found out they were expecting, I was more excited than anyone. I am so happy I get to document Makenzie’s life like I do my own kids. This was the first time I have photographed the WHOLE family. I think they turned out great!

The Elf On The Shelf- Nick

Who else has an Elf on a shelf? Isn’t it AMAZING?? I mean really… The girls who came up with the idea are simply BRILLIANT! Think about it… An elf that comes every year and watches over your children and reports back to Santa every night? This is our first year doing it because last year I think my kids were a little too small to actually get it. Yesterday we had a delivery from the North Pole. It was The Elf on The Shelf DVD! It totally made Brayden’s day. I think it helped him better understand … I will be posting Elf on The Shelf pictures every few days. Our elf’s name is Nick. (FINALLY CAME UP WITH SOMETHING EVERYONE COULD AGREE ON)!!

How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

Who doesn’t love “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”? My kids watch the movie even when it’s not Christmas time. I saw an idea on Pinterest for a Grinch mini session. I knew I wanted to do it with my daughter, Carsyn. We already had the book and the Grinch stuffed animal. I knew we couldn’t do it outside because here in Virginia it’s a little too cool for my liking. I decided to use my bed. It worked just fine for what I wanted and I wasn’t really trying to go all out. Check out a few photos from our session. I also want to add, getting a 22 month old to do anything I want her to do is a MAJOR CHALLENGE!
