Doc Mcstuffin’s Obsession

My daughter has a slight obsession. Her name is Doc Mcstuffin’s! Ever heard of her? Yeah, not many people have. It is the newest show on the Disney Channel. It is actually the CUTEST little show. It has even helped out when we go to the doctor. Both of my kids LOVE it.

Carsyn is turning two in a few weeks and at first I wanted to do a tea party. I thought about it, and Carsyn has no idea what the heck a tea party is. My next idea was a Doc Mcstuffin’s party. And of course Carsyn loved that idea. It hasn’t been that easy. Doc Mcstuffin’s is so hard to find. They haven’t even come out with party supplies yet. But, this momma will make it happen!

Today, Carsyn and I had to day together. We did ONE of her birthday shoots!

The Blanton Family- New Year’s Session

My best friend ever, Jenny had the most amazing idea! She wanted to do an New Year’s family session. Jenny wasn’t able to get Christmas cards done this year and New Year’s card were the perfect solution. Her girls, Kyla and Delana had a special delivery from Santa this year. A NEW PUPPY! Her name is Sparkles. Check out this GORGEOUS FAMILY!

This is my angel. She is going to be JUST like her momma!

New Year- Better blogger!

I hope everyone had a FANTASTIC holiday! I had some much needed time off with my family. I have played babies, Operation, video games, coloring, and MUCH MORE.. But, it’s time to get back to work. I had a New Year’s wedding this year. I had so much fun. I normally would be at home with the kids. I am normally the only one awake at midnight. It was nice changing it up a bit.

My New Years resolution is to be a better blogger. I suck at it. plain. and. simple. I don’t know why. My images look SO MUCH better on here than on Facebook. I just need to get out of that funk!

I wanted to change you guys up on some holiday images that I haven’t posted. It’s my little Makenzie. She is such a sport. She came with me to the tree farm!

I also did a shoot of my daughter with Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

Christmas with The Falcone’s

Yep, the Falcone’s! That’s us! I FINALLY found time for my own pictures. We usually don’t do family pictures for Christmas cards, so Mike got lucky! I took the kids to a local tree farm in King and Queen. I knew what I wanted months ago. It turned out PERFECT! Well minus the few falls in the mud. My kids were champs! It wasn’t crazy, chaotic, or a disaster. It was a miracle!

The Olivia Act

Good Wednesday morning to you guys! I hope everyone is ready and excited for Christmas. I know I am! I don’t want it to be over though.

December has been filled with ups and downs for the US. On Friday, December 14th, 26 innocent lives were taken from us in Newtown. I have been thinking since Friday, what can I do to help? I even asked my husband, what should we do. I felt it was our duty to help. I couldn’t imagine something like that happening here in little King William County. My kids and I are doing 26 random acts of kindness in honor of each victim. Each act will be inspired by each everyone that lost their life on Friday.

This morning a photog friend, Kelly (Kelly Allison Photography) posted something about The Olivia Act. When I read her post, I KNEW, I wanted to participate.

Kari Elizabeth Photography will be taking part in The Olivia Act. I’d be honored to help in any way I can.

Please take a moment to read and nominate someone.
The Olivia Act, named after one of the children killed in Newtown, Ct., was started by a photographer who wishes to be anonymous. Olivia’s family had family pictures taken a short time before she was killed. Those pictures are precious and now priceless to them. Upon hearing this, this photographer was moved to give away a 30 minute family photo shoot and has challenged other photographers to do the same. We go about our daily lives and sometimes we don’t take the time or have the resources to have family photos taken.

I will be taking nominations until January 11th for a family that you think would benefit from this gift. Please email me the families name, email, and phone number with a brief reason why you think they should be the recipient of The Olivia Act. Please put The Olivia Act Nomination in the subject line of the email. You may not nominate yourself. I will contact the family by phone or email once they are chosen (please do not post the families information on here). The family must live in a 30 mile radius of King William County. The gift will include a 30 minute Session, and a CD of up to 25 images, and can be used any time during 2013. Please forward this and get the word out to anyone who knows a family that this would appreciate being nominated.

My email is Please, no PMs.
